"Moose Lodge In The Sky"

An Angel then appeared to him and took him by the hand,
to conduct him on his journey to "Heavens Promised Land".
The Angel gripped him tightly though he tried to wiggle loose,
until he saw upon the robe the emblem of the Moose.
The Angel said "Oh Brother Moose, pray, do not fear to die",
your membership has been transferred to the "Moose Lodge In The Sky".
We must hurry Brother, the meeting starts at eight,
and we must be there early for your my candidate.
They found St. Peter waiting with his gavel raised up high,
presiding at the meeting of the "Moose Lodge In The Sky".
The Angel said "Oh Brother, please sit here with the others,
I'm on the Ritual Team", and went to join his Brothers.
The Brother was so astounded at the thousands that attended,
that he hardly even noticed when the Ceremony ended.
Bill was there, whom he had known in the Moose Lodge far below,
and there was Brother Adams too, and Pete and Brother Joe.
The Brother could only marvel at the spacious marble hall,
and a mammoth "Mooseheart" picture that was hanging on the wall.
As he looked upon the picture he recognized the scene,
for it was really not a picture, but a giant television screen.
He watched the children playing, then suddenly he spied,
two tiny children and the girl who'd been his bride.
The Brother's heart was filled with joy,
though his eyes were dimmed with tears,
he's provided for his family with protection through the years.
And then a mighty organ played, its music filled the air,
then, the Mooseheart children joined to sing their evening prayer,
He could hear the children singing with their voices raised on high,
"God Bless all our Daddy's and their Moose Lodge in the Sky".
