[121] Mooseheart's second head football coach was William Seeglitz 1926-1936.

[122] The Coventry Angel Vase was specially blown, with 50 others, by Whitefriars Company, England in the finest clear crystal. It was presented by the Grand Council of Great Britain, 1960. For many years it was displayed at the House of God and is now located at the museum.

[123] The first family was admitted to Mooseheart on July 18, 1913. The three children in the Thomas Lee family were Randolph, Leon and Robert.

[124] During 1915-1916, the average hours spent at work, per day, per boy was 3.2 hours. Girls averaged out to 3.0 hours per day. The highest individual wage per hour was 15 cents.

[125] The majority of boys would sleep in tents at Camp E. J. Henning and Camp Mahlon Garland, during the summers of 1914-1919.

[126] In 1916, there were thirteen babies at Mooseheart. They lived at Merrill Farm which was west of Fez Hall.

[127] In 1915, the children, except for the babies, would have a 6:00 A.M. inspection every morning.

[128] Moose Island, located on the Fox River, was used by our Mooseheart boys for camping. Philadelphia Lodge #54 used it for camping purposes during the Convention, when the convention was held in Chicago, 1914-1919.

[129] In 1918, a Philharmonic Orchestra was started for the boys and girls at Mooseheart. It continued until the early 1970's.

[130] Every Sunday night, at Mooseheart, motion pictures were shown. In order that the children might have music during the picture show, a group of students organized themselves into what was known as the Orchestra Petite.

[131] In 1919, each Friday night the older boys and girls at Mooseheart, had a dance. This dance was always carefully chaperoned.

[132] In 1918, the pier was built with a high tower. The water was over 18 ft. deep at Mooseheart Lake.

[133] The Mooseheart Library was located on the third floor of the old school building in 1915. It had over 5,000 books.

[135] Mooseheart Elevation Bonnie, a five year old cow at the dairy is currently (1993) producing 142 pounds of milk per day. Thats over 16 gallons everyday and it makes her one of the most productive cows ever at Mooseheart.
